LLPGA (Potsdam)
Ladies Learning to Play Golf At (Potsdam)
Calling all ladies! The new and not-so-new golfer.
What do I wear? What does par mean?
Where do I stand?
These are just a few of the many questions that new golfers may ask. Come and join the fun. Come with a friend or meet other ladies who want to learn how to play golf and become more confident on the course.
The lessons will include a very broad overview of a golf course, how to get started, the etiquette of golf, the game of golf, which clubs to use and when, and basic technique such as how to grip the club and the many parts to a good swing.
Your evening could look something like this:
5:15 arrive and sign in (borrow a few clubs if needed)
5:30 group lesson with club pro Frank Mittiga
6:00 head out onto the course for a few holes (or 9)
Anytime sit and relax on the patio or in Bobbie I’s with the
ladies. Enjoy a cold drink, stay for a bite or a
full meal.
The LLPGA(Potsdam) will begin Tuesday June 10th (weather permitting)
The cost for non-members: $10.00 members: $5.00
$1.00 from each participant, each week, will go directly to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the LPGA's official national charity since 1992.
